Overview
One run of an AI agent working under an on-chain budget, on Robinhood Chain Testnet.
Start here: the story in six steps
- DeskStart here: the run, the market and your agents in one place. You are here
- Agent tradeAn AI agent proposes a trade and the contract checks every number.
- Agent marketWatch bot agents bid in sealed rounds, one price per round.
- Deploy agentCreate an agent account with its own budget and identity.
- LimitsWhat the agent may do, and the owner’s controls and kill switch.
- ProofRun metrics, the verified contracts and what we depend on.
The result
$913.50 profit, in test tokens, on 350 iPhone 16 Pro clear cases.
Per case: $10.99 sale price − $6.59 cost to buy and land − $1.79 fees = $2.61 profit.
- The contract did the math itself ONCHAIN
It worked out $913.50 profit before any money moved. When the agent claimed more, it refused.
- Spending stayed under the limit ONCHAIN
$2,306.50 spent. The limit per trade is $2,500.00.
- Money in minus money out ONCHAIN AGENT ATTESTED
$3,220.00 in − $2,306.50 out = $913.50.
This is a test run. The sale is a fixed test listing and the money came from the owner’s test wallet, so the profit matches by design. No goods moved.
The vault
The vault is the pot of test money the contract holds for the owner. Free is money nobody has committed yet, in escrow is money locked for one purchase, paid out has been released to the approved supplier.
Showing saved values while reading the chain…
free + escrow + paid out − proceeds = the vault balance at the start of the run
$5,913.50 + $0.00 + $2,306.50 − $3,220.00 = $5,000.00 vs $5,000.00 at the start
No money was created or lost: every cent is in exactly one bucket.
The mandate
The owner wrote these limits into the contract. The agent cannot change them.
Saved values while reading the chain
- Per-trade capThe most the agent may spend on one purchase.
- $2,500.00
- Per dayThe most new buying it may commit to in one UTC day. Commitments do not expire, so this limits commitments, not daily cash-out.
- $5,000.00
- Margin floorNet profit must be at least this share of the sale price.
- 18.00%
- FreshnessA price the agent dates as older than this is refused. The agent supplies the date.
- 180s
